soldleahOur next guest blog  is from ANZ MoneyManager Challenger Leah, who has recently taken the plunge in home ownership with her partner and knew it was time to get on top of her spending. Enter ANZ MoneyManager…

I have recently bought my first house with my boyfriend Dan. While it is a really exciting time, it is also quite scary when I look at the amount of my monthly wage that goes directly to paying off my mortgage. It also means that my spending habits now affect someone else and I really wanted to make sure that this exciting new phase remains a positive experience for both me and my boyfriend!

I have found MoneyManager to be an insightful way of tracking my spending habits. I always knew roughly in what areas I spent my money but to see them charted so accurately was very enlightening.

Through this knowledge I was able to use the budgeting tools in MoneyManager, to set weekly targets and reasonable goals that allowed for some savings to be made each week. I have found it to be very useful and easy to use tool.
