We’ve talked about how much we were spending on certain items and decided that it would be great to learn more about how others use ANZ MoneyManager and how they spend their money…commence the ANZ MoneyManager Challenge!

Over a four week period we asked each of our participants to regularly use ANZ MoneyManager and report back on their experience. They also let us in on any spending surprises they stumbled across along the way.

Meet Madelaine Walker, a Legal Personal Assistant aged 26 years old. Madelaine recently returned from travelling and wanted to get her finances in shape.

First home owner, 30 year old Leah Hyland works as an Education Officer and has taken the plunge in home ownership with her partner and knew it was time to get on top of her spending.

Ebony Caldicott who became a mum for the first time and has felt the pinch with the additional costs involved.

Rohan Day recently started a home delivery service, Aussie Farmers Direct, providing fresh fruit and vegetables, milk and other dairy products directly to people’s homes.

Stay tuned for some guest blogs from our participants on their progress as well as updates from us on Twitter.

Have you got your own budgeting and savings questions? We’ve also asked ANZ Senior Financial Planner and Certified Financial Planner, Katrina Pulbrook to provide some budgeting and saving tips. All you need to do is send in questions to us via Twitter or to our feedback mailbox and Katrina will respond each week on our blog.

Katrina is a senior relationship financial planner at ANZ. She manages the strategic planning for the finances of individuals ranging from top football players, to very busy executives, to people winding down their small businesses to retire.

Katrina has over 12 years experience as a financial planner and before that she  worked in money market broking and foreign exchange. Prior to the finance world Katrina was a professional dancer, coach and seminar speaker touring the world representing Australia. The highest ranking Katrina achieved was fourth in the world championship. She spends her spare time being a soccer Mum and a School Captain Mum to her step son Jaz.
